Founded in 1998 by current CEO Tom Cole, Kids Unlimited was created to provide opportunities for empowerment. Through the recognition that many children living in poverty endure hardships that often prevent them from gaining access to opportunity, Kids Unlimited was created. Kids Unlimited was created to provide all children despite their cultural or economic limitations an opportunity to believe in education.
Growing from one elementary school in 1998, Kids Unlimited now provides after school programs to 5 high poverty elementary schools and 3 middle schools in Medford and White City Oregon along with a variety of high school activities which in total reach over 1,500 students per week.
As the organization grew, so did the “Unlimited” in our brand. Kids Unlimited recognized the importance of finding and cultivating the interests of children to reinforce the goals of education. The programs of Kids Unlimited have grown to incorporate sports, arts, music, culinary arts, film, robotics, leadership, science and gardening. Our philosophy is that we must continue to challenge our programs to always expand those activities that will inspire and motivate children to dream, believe and achieve.
